We provide advice, support and representation, organising campaigns and negotiating to improve and protect members' pay and terms and conditions of employment.
GMB employs a team of experts including legal specialists, health and safety experts, pension specialists, human resource management staff and experts on terms and conditions.
GMB is a campaigning trade union focused on protecting members in their workplaces and growing membership to strengthen the Union's power.
Support is often provided through Workplace Organisers, GMB trained individuals who volunteer their time to help workmates, backed up by full-time GMB Organisers.

Anyone in employment has a legal right to be a member of a trade union and to be represented by GMB. Banbury GMB Branch consists of members from the local geographical area across all sections of industry and workplace.
The branch elects its own officers - Secretary, President, Auditor, Branch Youth Officer and Branch Equality Officer - every four years. These volunteers are not employed by GMB but provide advice and support to branch members.
GMB trained individuals who volunteer their time to help their workmates.
Backing up the reps are full-time GMB Organisers providing professional support.
